Child safety standards

Quietly is a voice-only social app. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page explains what is prohibited, how to report it, and what we do about it.

What is not allowed

Any content that sexualizes, exploits or endangers a child, including in voice recordings, replies, stories or profile text.
Grooming, or any attempt to contact a minor for sexual purposes or to arrange to meet.
Sharing, requesting or linking to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or encouraging others to do so.
Sextortion, trafficking, or threats against a child.

Content or accounts that break these rules are removed and are never allowed back.

How to report a concern

In the app: tap the flag on any post and choose a reason. You can also block any user from their profile, which hides you from each other immediately.
By email: write to our child safety contact at simple2codepp@gmail.com. Include the username and, if you can, the time and room of the post.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

What we do when we receive a report

A person reviews the report. We treat anything involving a child as the highest priority.
We remove the content and ban the account. A banned account’s posts disappear from the app.
We keep the information needed for an investigation, even if the account is later deleted, as far as the law allows or requires.
We report confirmed CSAM and exploitation to the appropriate authorities, including the NCMEC CyberTipline and local law enforcement, and we cooperate with their requests.

How Quietly is designed to reduce risk

There are no private messages. Every post and reply is public, so problems can be seen and reported.
The app carries short voice notes only, with no image or video sharing.
Reporting and blocking are built into every post and profile.
